This is the new home of http://jeremylintelligence.wordpress.com, which I started back in February of 2012 at the start of Linsanity. In the sidebar, you’ll see a “Follow” button. Please follow this site–especially if you were a follower of the old site. I’m not an expert in these matters, but I think what you need to do is Unfollow the old site and Follow this site. For now, I will begin to direct traffic from the old site to the new site, so you’ll still be automatically directed to the new site even if you click the old link. But I just don’t know how long that will last. So might as well just keep it simple and Follow this new site.
I’ve made a few changes from the old site, which I hope will make this site even more useful to you. In the sidebar, you’ll see something called “Featured Posts”. The idea behind this is to highlight some posts that you may find useful–especially when it comes to responding to Jeremy Lin Haters/Doubters, as well as sharing with other Lin fans. In particular, the following posts come to mind:
- Jeremy Lin Haters/Doubters are Like the Flat Earth People
- Kevin McHale is Just a Jeremy Lin Doubter. Nothing More. Nothing Less.
I know it can be exhausting, at times, responding to Lin Haters/Doubters. So I’m hoping that these posts take the burden off of you. I’ve done all the work for you. All you need to do is direct these uninformed individuals to my posts and videos and let me handle all the vitriol that ensues. Ha ha. Speaking of videos, in the sidebar, you’ll also find an area called “Featured Sites,” where you’ll see listed JeremyLintel YouTube Channel. You can use these YouTube videos in a similar fashion to inform Haters/Doubters and even fans of some of the key issues facing Jeremy Lin. I plan on making more videos this season, so be on the lookout for that.
Well, that’s all for now. I hope I didn’t loose any old readers in the transfer process and sorry for any inconvenience this transfer may have caused you. I’ve been wanting to migrate away from the wordpress.com site for a while now, but kept hesitating, because I didn’t want to make things inconvenient for you. But I think at the end of the day, it’ll be worth it, because the new site allows me a lot of freedom that the wordpress.com site did not, such as more plugins (i.e., “Featured Posts”) and the ability to monetize the site and hopefully put some change in my pocket (although I still haven’t quite figured out how to do that, yet. Ha ha. Definitely open to ideas. Of course, one way you can help is to spread the word about this site.). Anyway, I won’t bore you with all the details of other reasons why I finally made the transfer. Hope you enjoy the new site!
